The HoMedics Ultimate Foot & Calf Massager is a product designed to relieve muscle tension and fatigue. It offers a personalized massage experience that targets your feet and calves with three customizable massage settings, including compression, kneading, and vibration. The massager features six rotational movements for double the massage for calves & legs, invigorating nodes for a gentle massage option, and soothing heat. It has easy-to-use-touch controls and an automatic 15-minute shut-off feature. The massager is also portable, with a handle for ease of transport.

However, customer reviews of this product are mixed. Some users are satisfied with their purchase, describing it as relaxing to use and ideal for unwinding after a long day on their feet. They also mention that it provides good value for the price, as it allows for daily foot and calf massages for the price of a few professional massages.

On the other hand, there are numerous negative reviews. Some users found the massager to be painful, particularly the calf massage, which they described as "excruciatingly painful squeezing" that could not be bypassed or adjusted. Other users found the massager poorly made, with a low-quality plug that only lasted eight months despite the high price tag. Additionally, there were complaints about the customer service and refund policy of the company, with one user noting they were required to pay for the freight to return a defective product, which went against the company's refund policy.

A major complaint was the lack of adjustability of the machine. Users reported it was not suitable for taller individuals (over 1.6 meters) as it only massaged a quarter of their calf, and there was no option to extend or adjust the machine for a full calf massage. There were also concerns about the pressure being too high and non-adjustable, which could be harmful for older individuals or those with osteoporosis. Furthermore, there were criticisms about the noise level of the vibrating mechanism and the fact that the foot vibrating mechanism does not adequately massage the heel unless significant pressure is applied.

Given these reviews, it's clear that while some people enjoy this massager and find it useful, others have encountered significant issues. Prospective buyers should carefully consider these factors and potentially seek out a hands-on trial or a retailer with a good return policy before making a purchase.

        • Correct. Find it handy at times to pull together pros and cons from various sites without the waste of time hitting 20 sites. Subscribed to pro so it's a game changer when you have access to details up to the minute (without the non pro September 2021 time constraints)

  • Found it useful for a year at which point it just stopped working- just as the warranty period ended! Contemplated buying a new power adaptor to see if the problem was with the adapter or the actual massager….but decided not to throw good money after bad. Sits in the garage for the next hard waste collection!

    • Thanks.. I've ordered it yesterday.. let's hope if the machine's life is different for me 🤞🏼
