  • Didn't this used to brick your old model or something?

  • +2

30% credit applied for a future purchase is not equal to 30% off.

  • +5

The deal is 30% off one item.
A theatre package worth 3 1/2 thousand dollars is considered one item. So that equates to around $1000 discount. I have done this before. I traded in my old play five which cost me $550 11 years ago and I got $1000 discount on my new package. :-)

    • Not sure that's the case - i think it discounts at a different rate? That's what it's showing in my login at least. 2x Era 300 = $75 discount, 1x era 300 = $112% discount

    • +3

Can confirm this works - I traded in a single Connect:Amp and got a 30% discount on my entire order of 3 items. It included an Era 300 which ended up being $524.

  • 30% is on full price only, can't be stacked with discounted products.

  • It was posted but mods expired it

But all’s good. I did make use of this promo. I have 1 more use left (had 2 qualified products).

  • Worth posting IMO. I'm a new Sonos user since Feb 2023 and didn't know this Sonos upgrade discount program existed.

Ironically the One SL's I purchased new in Feb 2023 as surround rears are already eligible for this program with a 15% discount.

Which would have been handy to know before I purchased 2 x ERA300's in April.

Oh well.. live & learn. I can apply the 15% to the new Arc 2 when it comes out later this year :D

  • I think it got asked on the previous thread, but didn't have a clear answer - does anyone know if you buy an eligible item 2nd hand, and the original owner didn't use the discount, can I register that item on my account and claim the discount?

    • +1

Yep it can be done, I’ve done it plenty of times.

    • +2 - bought a used ZP100 for $90. Stopped working (the permanent blinking white light) - rang Sonos and credit was applied to my account. 30% off the Amp dropped it from $1,099 to $769.30.

  • Is cashback still valid when using this credit?

  • My word of advice, unless you're desperate or have plenty of money to spend I wouldn't go the Sonos route. After owning 8 Sonos speakers I've had it. It is one of the biggest regrets of my life. Despite the 30% discount it is still expensive. And can be troublesome to setup. As we move forward routers programming become more complex due to security issues and progress and for some reason despite their high prices Sonos just can't keep up. Don't fall into their ability with multi room setup. This and the integration of their other products that can bring the whole set up undone and so difficult to pin point.
