Looks like Prime Day 2023 will be 11-12 July this year. Someone over on reddit posted a picture of the box tape: https://reddit.com/r/AmazonFC/comments/14caoa0/prime_day/

Agree, the 'deals' are very meh. Bought a Switch game with $10 cashback and that's it. Even that wasn't a great deal but Switch games never are..
Been looking, nothing amazing or a standout. I was hanging out for a TV and hoping JB might do some price matching or price drops but nothing in this area thats any good either. Considering I’ve seen about 10 billboards around Melbourne for prime day they spent more on marketing then any actual discounts
Yeah fizzer for me, nothing I want and prices are just OK. Happy I didn't buy gift cards.
Last year spent $0
This year at $600 and countingWas that 600 zingers?
Hypothetical zingers
Bought some soup, a wireless mouse, saved $7 on a CPU Cooler.
SSD deals are decent but high risk of them falling further with time. Amazon notifying me when I've last ordered something has been helpful in seeing that the 'deals' are very often definitely not at their all time lows and also prompting me to get up and actually find the damn things I've bought in the past to use them (which outlines how non-essential those purchases were).
Also there is a massive amount of pure crap to sift through on Amazon's prime deals page
Ozbargain item history and camel camel camel has also helped me check deals properly and avoid spending much in both this prime sale and last year's prime day. The deals are nothing like 2018/2019 when they were new to Aus. Anybody with FOMO should make full use of these tools to better evaluate how good a deal is at the very least (each amazon deal on OzB usually has a camel x3 link embedded to check pricing history)
Basically shit they usually have on discount on rotation every few months just into packed into 2 days.
What the hell is that wet firecrack Prime Day?
Chainsaw, faulty SSDs and beard trimmers? All this advertising for that? Glad I got my 3 Zingers today that was the real prime day
I bought some Adidas, but that was from eBay, nothing from prime day
I wonder if eBay is trying to compete
My Zinger was dry, tasteless and stingy.
So a step up from this years Prime Day…
I guess if you needed toilet paper and soft drink then it was a blast!
3 years ago I had so many packages delivered you would think I was the Post Office, but the last few years have been disappointing.
I expect a lot of hourly lightning deals tomorrow but mostly for over-priced Switch games.Found the best deal. Oh wait, that's from Bunnings!
It would appear that every item in Amazon's inventory was posted on ozbargain today. Pfft.
sorry silly question… did this wrong last time and lost all my amazon accts FFS
how do I get to see the US prime deals without losing my Amazon Australia account
?Been waiting for my yearly 36 pack of coca cola. So disappointed.
One every 10 days?
I don't drink a heap, but I do like to have the occasional one…
The mic I uploaded was actually the cheapest ever. So I was content with my purchase. It lasted less than an hour before Amazon increased the price by over 300%
It's the same price, diff color
? What do you mean
sorry, I was wrong 😔
Anyone noticed that the delivery dates have blown out by a week?
Yeah, i reckon they are just covering their arses and i expect most items will suddenly be shipped in the next day or two.
Got a 10 day delivery estimate…
Usually I go nuts on Prime Day, spend over $400 on gifts and things I don't really need.
Bought a few Switch games for the collection today but have not seen a single good deal anywhere. This Prime Day has been absolutely terrible.
Not a single blockbuster mobile deal this year… As usual shopback didn't track all purchase either… !
wow that was a massive flop
Not a total bust for me. Got myself some storage (USB drive), some phone chargers and a couple more 4k Firesticks. Definitely not exciting.
Wonder if there'll be any last minute cashback offers from CR/SB/TCB
Terrible deals, they jacked all the prices over the last year, dropped them slightly to still higher than what they used to be and are calling it a deal….
gtfo amazon.
Thank you bezos for not contributing to inflation that much this year.
I only spent $21~ on amazon this prime day. Helps not sky rocketting the fake economy
Just went through my order history. Have really spent nothing this year.
Prior Amazon sales -
~$600 ($500 on a gaming monitor)
~$1500 ($1200 on a coffee machine)
~$650 ($420 on a Nintendo switch/games)
~$610 ($300 on headphones)This year - $85. Bought some T2 tea and a toothbrush.
Not great to be honest. Deals should have more variety, and last the whole two days. Not just randomly end. No significant deals either.
Jus added a few things to my cart and noticed that every item showed "FREE Prime delivery Monday, 24 July". What happened the the usual 2day delivery like items I purchased yesterday. Did robots stop working at the DCs amd they are manually picking the orders.
Was your item(s) located in Australia or another country? I'm tipping the latter. Remember, teleportation hasn't been invented yet.
Australia. Have a look for yourself. Pretty much all items shipped by amazon are showing delivery time no earlier then july 24. Prove me wrong.
Literally every item I clicked on said it would be delivered by Sunday 16th July. Now I grant you, that's longer than usual but it turned out to be painfully easy to prove you wrong.
Luckily, I replied back to you whilst on the toilet so the whole thing didn't end up benig a waste of time.
@kiriakoz: Its all now showing as 16th for delivery. But for 2 items that i acrually did end up ordering are showing as 24th. Ahh well.
@BlitzR: Fair enough.
I had the same problem! And then the next day it went back to being delivered within 2 days??? Are Amazon cutting costs on speedy delivery within prime day discounts?
I remeber last yr they did a similar thing. When i msged th, they blamed it on covid.. delivery times have been crap lately.
It's sad because my estimated delivery date is 24th July and I go on now and for the same product ($40 more expensive though) it says Monday 17th July… a week difference. I'm perplexed.
@aurumlover: Could order and return the other one perhaps.
Received most stuff but some items still a few days off. Initially there was a delay stated but then was a day or two so shouldn't be too long hopefully (unless from the US etc).Actually seems like they put on more/new drivers, got one delivery at 8pm.
@G-rig: Today they updated the delivery date for my order to match the current one on the product pages…
I got a significantly better price for my items than the current prices so I couldn't cancel and reorder. But yeah weird experience.
Keeping this up so others who might have the same problem know its common and not to worry.
@aurumlover: Yes just have to be patient :)
usually next day or so but to be expected with prime day I guerss.
Terrible Prime Day
Nothing of note
Any deals being posted on American/European Prime Day ?
dgsht pd
Yeah nothing exciting, few household items I'd buy anyway.
Everyone bags ebay plus but their tech and computing deals were a lot better.Talk about waste, 6x soy milk turned up in individual boxes, wtf..
Handy to reuse but getting too many boxes.I'm fairly certain I will not be renewing Amazon Prime.
Last's years Prime was terrible, and this year is just the same. Looking at my purchases most are over the free shipping threshold and for the small items that are not, there is always something in my cart I'm watching that I can just add on.
$79, hmm for a few sub $39 orders. Numbers speak for themselves.
BTW, does anyone know if I cancel now if the subscription is refunded pro-rata?
Wow, Prime Day was such a letdown this year. All I bought was a firestick for the living room, not a single other deal that was a bargain. Shame, they should stop promoting it so heavily when it's as embarrassing as the old Myer/DJ's 'sales' back in the day.

Bill Shorten agrees.
