    • Yes, it certainly has come down in price since the time you bought it for that price !

This would be a bargain 9 months ago, but an SGS2 bargain today would be 3 months free on a $29 Virgin Big Cap with 2GB bonus data each month.

Is this a better phone than the SGS2?

Sony has higher res screen and slightly better camera, but S2 is better in most other areas, and is more compact/lighter. I looked at these 2 and chose S2, no regrets.

Not a good plan. So easy to get caught out with a large monthly bill with the expensive calls: 99c/min (billed per min) + 40c call connection. text: 28c (per text up to 160 characters). 13 & 1300 numbers 99c/min (billed per min) + 40c call connection

On top of that: Not included in monthly credit: 18 and 1800 numbers 16.5c/30 secs (billed per sec) + 20c call connection, and don't forget the measly data allowance and no roll-over: Excess data usage 20.5c/MB = $205.00/GB

    • Last time I was over 250 mb and they billed me $500. (I didn't pay it though). I see that they've changed it.

  • Got mine free on $29 cap with Vodafone back in January. Also included $100 cash back via buckscoop and managed to cut the bill down to just over $26 per month. No where near a bargain
