My samsung s21 ultra has been to repair 3 times and it has started to play again in 2 months. They have replaced motherboard and lots of components many times! It is still under warranty.
Can I request them to replace with new phone?

they replaced mine with a S23 Ultra first time it went it for a repair, no questions asked.
You should be able to use your consumer law guarantee rights.
Replacing parts is considered "major fault" which alone will trigger a full refund or replacement.
You've had this done 3 times.
It's time they replaced your phone surely.
Go to the ACCC site and learn about the consumer guarantee, use all the right words when you speak with them and you should come out on top.
Good luck
no luck, its with repairs 5th time no and still they will not replace the phone! repair is the only thing offered.
There is a “no lemon guarantee” baked into the ACL. Multiple minor problems can constitute a major problem. You can probably argue this is the case and get a replacement.
If they won't budge just take them tribunal, they'll back down as soon as they receive the paperwork.
It's not worth their time to fight a loosing case.
Just make sure you got a backup phone while it happens if you still need to use your phone.
I went to samsung in perth, only headoffice can give replacement. So, will be without phone for the 4th time! in 1.5 years
please see email below from samsung. it has been to repair 5 times now and they are unable to fix the phone. i asked for replacement and they refused it. what are my choices? should i do a dispute and take the to court?

If the business can’t or won’t repair or fix the problem within a reasonable amount of time, or at all, a consumer is entitled to:
get it done somewhere else, with the business paying the consumer back for the reasonable cost of the fix or repair
get a refund or replacement instead
keep the product or cancel the service contract, and be compensated for the drop in value caused by the problem.
