Good deal, but not interest. Expecting the real HP N40L deal ^_^

  • This is a great looking deal Rep. Sure it's no N40L, but it's a fraction of the (current) cost. Thanks!

    • yeah i doubt we will see $168 microservers any time soon…

however… to be fair the microserver is twice the price, twice the discs, twice the transfer rate

  • cheap price, however some review does suggest network connection drop on this unit.

  • FYI the read/write speeds to this are quite slow (but more than adequate for media serving):

    http://www.cnet.com/network-storage/iomega-storcenter-ix2-20…
"write performance improved to 137.5Mbps while its read performance decreased to 215.42Mbps."

    me too

    • me too…thanx!

  • What a mess around to install the drives on this!

    • really not so bad. Probly just put new disks straight in.
Still more complicated than the Netgear.

      • ? All I did was put them in, done.

        • Right! I shouldn't have read the instructions.
