Replacement Bag for Ozito 2400W Corded 3 in 1 Blower Vacuum Mulcher

Has anyone found a successful generic replacement collection bag for the Ozito 2400W Corded 3 In 1 Blower Vacuum Mulcher?
A genuine Ozito replacement bag is available from Bunnings at $29.50. This is almost 50% of a new Corded 3 In 1 Blower Vacuum ($59), which seems over priced.
Various generic models are available on eBay, with mixed reviews. So does anyone have any personal experience with these?

If you find one , please let me know. I’ve had search alert setup for a while here - hence why I was this post. As it stands a replacement bag costs more than the unit cost me (on sale). And the replacement Ozito bags don’t last according to the Bunnings reviews

  • From memory the bags I could find are really just a kinda fabric/paper type substance and pretty rubbish.
My wife used the old bag as a template and whipped up one from some one calico style fabric she had lying around.
    Its been great.

  • bunnings sells large hessian bags for $11. one of those attached with a cable tie would work.

bunnings website shows Ozito Garden Vacuum Bag for $19.95

  • Mine is torn at the corner. So I inserted a bin liner plastic as a layer, the fabric bag on the outside. So far so good.

    • Maybe a hessian bag as a liner for the original, that way can still capture dust.

multiple complaints about the same problem on bunnings website. A couple of users seems to have solved this through a 3d printed attachments that protects the bag from the direct flow of high speed mulched stuff, however no design has been shared. I have the same tool, but have yet to use it as mulcher/vacuum so have not observed yet what the exact cause is. Would anyone of you be able to provide enough info for me to design something that might prevent the bag destruction?

  • Bump! Mine broke today, same tear as what most are reporting right near where the bag attaches to the blower/mulcher.
Has anyone had any luck finding an aftermarket, stronger replacement or a the 3d printing plans spoken of above?

P.S.A. Don't buy this or similar type. The bag doesn't allow airflow through the material.

      • Thanks for the headsup

I've got this coming today: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08L79WFDV

At $13.50 per bag, not too bad. Not sure if mine was really a issue with high speed objects. It seemed like the bag was just really brittle after a few years. It didn't really have a huge amount of usage.

Will report back whether these bags are suitable for the Ozito.

@tendercoins: Update: Can confirm these bags work well. Seems a bit more durable than the original one, although maybe they'll get brittle too after a while.

They've literally just added $10 shipping strangely, so it's now $18.50 per bag. Not really a big deal if they last a while.

  • Has any tried this which is in one of the review comments on Bunnings?

  • I'm here for the same reason….mine has just got a hole in it. Finger went through the material bag when I was emptying it.
