    The Sony and the both Bose are all super-highly regarded, you just need to try them for comfort. I know users who say the Sony ear cups are shallower but depends on your ear shape.

    Don't buy beats. I have older versions of both Bose and Sony and prefer the sound of the Sony. The Bose noise cancelling is a bit better though.

      QC45 is actually pretty good for music. Not Sony good but most wouldn't ever notice.

    I think bose out of the box, sound better.

    Sony feels base heavy, but is fine if you tune the eq.

    Noise cancelling….in all honesty they're somewhat on par, maybe Bose as it's newer?

    Damn the Bose is cheaper than Sony? Didn't expect that lol.

      Sony that OP posted is 1.5 years old or more now. XM5 was released last year, should be a new model in the coming months.

        Yeah and it's more expensive than the bose???
        I'm still on my xm3 lol, it's still going strong.

          I'm still going on the XM3 as well, but then I only paid $200 for them back in late 2021, I couldn't imagine paying twice as much just to jump up one model today.

    1. Skip the beats. Just not even in the game really.
    2. QC45 yes, go try it out yourself, see if it fits your head and ear.
    3. Skip 700, lots of issue with software previously, not sure if issue been ironed out. Also heavier.
    4. Why not xm5? better NC, fit a little bit better, more room for ears and feels less warm imo.

    my personal rating on categories:
    comfort - qc45
    sound - xm5
    nc - xm5

    my take - if you are staying outdoor and not wearing it for 8 hour straight get the xm5 else qc45.

    Sony website will price match Sony XM5 price from Kogan (the one sold by Kogan).
