          WatchNerd, .. duh !

    • +1

You’d only have got 20% off the first $75, so don’t stress

      • +2

You could have just said $15 lol

        Hurts more

    • Cancel and order again if not processed/shipped.

  • Confession: I've never bought anything from AliExpress!

    • +8

Never mention this again on here.

      • +3

Is it not a safe space?

    • +1

Never too late to get a steeldive sd1970.

Perfect gift for when you don’t know what to gift

      Christmas

      Get better soon
      Pregnancy announcement
      Farewell gift
      Black Friday

      Etc

Not in budget? why not consider 1-69 pc of skmei1628? Party favour bags for your kids birthday is sooooo 1990’s. Be the cool uncle that randomly gives out skmei 1628 (but only the black ones because the cooler colours like blue camo are never on sale)

      • +1

lol - I've seen you guys post your many watch deals but I have an exxy watch that never sees the light of day since the pandemic & now WFH.

        Be the cool uncle

lol - I'm quite the cool aunt already & prefer to stay that way …. as does my husband ;)

        • Agree here, I've got a few more expensive watches I don't tend to wear - got an Oris Aquis on eBay as I feel it wears too big on me these days compared to good fitting watches. Not much interest but still too nice to give away too cheap. You get a lot of value from these cheaper watches, my Baltany military crono gets a lot of wear now..

Ever since Temu (Pinduoduo) came to Australia, my Aliexpress shopping has been limited, guess I'll give them another shot!

    • +9

I find temu useless to me as it doesn't do electronics.

      • +1

True that, although if Amazon is somewhere remotely close in price I find it worth it to just buy from there for ACL / refund policies and no fuss returns

  • Aish my item isn't affiliated.

  • +5

Just a friendly reminder that it's no longer possible to report missing items if they don't arrive. aliexpress will ask for an official stamped document from AusPost, which does not exist and nobody will humour your request.

    • Did you use PayPal?

      • +1

nope, but good point, should definitely use PayPal.

    • +3

After 10 - 12 years of AliEx, I just had my first case of items go missing.

It was several items (of about AU$45) which was tracked to getting lost within Sydney,
and the last known depot where the item was scanned, was 7-km away from me.

AusPost has issued a digital note/letter to say that the item is definitely lost,
and to use their correspondence as a basis for filing any 'missing claims'.

I logged with Paypal, who have engaged AliEx / AliPay,
and I'm still waiting 2+ weeks now, to hear of any resolution.

It's obvious from the tracking, that the items were lost in Sydney,
ie. all of the items arrived into Australia at least,
and it went missing within AusPost network,
but I'm still waiting 2+ months without the items,
and without the case progressing either.

      • I also had the same issue with one of my orders, their tracking showed it as delivered but the Auspost tracking number never worked. I even got Auspost to send an email but they didn't accept it as evidence.

      • +4

I did a ali order(2 months ago) when they had the $3-4 picks for free post. Ordered like 10 items, and I received someone elses order - which was also from the $3-4 picks.

I took photos of the recieved stuff, and ali refunded me 100% immediately, and didnt ask for me to send the random persons stuff back.

So sorry rando ozbargainer, ive been using your $4 shaver, and weird security card wallet

    • +2

reminds me of time when WD asked me to get a stamped receipt from JB hifi for my purchase of hard drive. LoL No store puts stamps on receipts anymore they just give you paper receipt.

    • +2

Meanwhile they asked for evidence and I submitted a picture of my empty hand. I think it was pure luck that the rep on the other end understood exactly what I meant and approved the claim.

2 months later the order did infact arrive.

      • Meanwhile they asked for evidence and I submitted a picture of my empty hand.

        Do you have European ancestry?

      • AliExpress support can be so dumb in their evidence request. I bought an item that was never shipped even though a tracking number was given. The seller admitted they had to cancel the shipment as no stock and the tracking number even says “shipment canceled” when you click on it. However AliExpress refused to refund even with all that evidence saying “our system shows there is a tracking number so it must have been shipped. It is in transit so please walt a while to see if it will arrive “

      • did you take a picture and send it to the rep?
        or contact the seller………….

        • I did what everyone should do before PayPal. An AliExpress dispute.

          • @Clear: ….I mean, AFTER you received the goods and AFTER they refunded your money….
you did the right thing and told Aliexpress and the seller?

            • @bleugh: They're not interested at that point. The seller gets refunded by insurance.

    • +1

When an item is not working or not as expected, the seller will try to entice you to resend a new one and withdraw my complaint. Couple of time, I did that and the second item never arrived. And when I asked the seller again, they didn't budge. Should ask for full refund first time

    • Even worse when its delievered to the wrong address.
I receive items at Addy Cres but the address says Addy St. If I didnt drop them to the right address (one suburb over), poor dude would have no come back.

  • Sorry; I posted this Q on the wrong damn thread; seen your reply @Clear; however reposting here incase anyone has the same issue. You indicated the issue sometimes occurs with Mobile browser and I can confirm that’s what I tried with so hopefully all good tomorrow. Still salty about my $130 yesterday;-)

    Original post:
    Will this stack with: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/780670
And the Winter Sale and any Seller Coupons?

Last time I tried CB with AE during a Sale I was unable to use the above. I posted my experience in relation to a mini pc or watch posting deal - forget which deal it was.
Basically, from memory, the save x for every x would not appear if logged in via CashBack.

Just spent $130 yesterday :-( so spewing but there is a few other items I’d buy.

  • Tempted but my CR always has problems tracking Aliexpress orders, whether via app or on desktop.

    • The actual tracking of your click through or the approval? If it's the latter make sure you confirm your order once received on the orders page.

      • Actual tracking of the click, I make sure that ad blockers are off and that the item is an affiliated item before I go through CR to add the item to cart and purchase.

On mobile, Aliexpress opens the app which didn't track once so I uninstalled it but it still didn't work via mobile Chrome. Also tried on my desktop PC but it also didn't track.

While CR did say they'll cover the cashback out of their pocket for those 3-4 orders, I don't think they'll keep doing that indefinitely, do you have any ideas on how to have it track properly?

        • Are there any other browser add-ons? You're not using anything like a pi hole?

          • @Clear: Nope, no browser add ons and no pi hole. CR works for everything else but just doesn't like Aliexpress for some reason.

        • Check DNS off too (I have adguard set in the settings but turn off). Agree, use the chrome browser not AliExpress app.

  • +1

Damn…I wish I had this cashback over the last few days,
as I got a couple of $hundred worth of random, affiliated 'junk',
from AliEx's "Mega Summer Sale" going on now.

  • Is buying on Aliexpress with credit or debit card attracts any extra fees? Never bought anything before.

    • Best to pay in USD using a credit card with no international transaction fees like 28 degrees mastercard.

    • awww …. I'm not the only one!

  • If my cart has a mix of affiliate and non-affiliate items (to reach the US$4 off US$30 threshold), would I still get cash back on the affiliate items, or would the non-affiliate item make the entire cart ineligible for cash back?

    • +1

Yep cashback on affiliated and no cashback on non-affiliated.

  • Thanks OP

  • is it stackable with the winter sale coupons?

    • Yep. Make sure the items are affiliated and confirm delivery when the you receive your order.

  • +1

Is it ok to use coins?

    • +1

      Yes

  • +1

Apparently only 6 left in stock so not enough for a separate deal post, but I highly recommend this AOHI 65W Desktop Charger - literally only 1 alternative option exists: UGreen 65W Desktop Charger, but the UGreen doesn't have safety certifications for some reason? I'm sure it works fine, but I avoided it for that reason. Annoyingly, no other reputable brands have an offering in this product category. (I'm sure there's some Heymix house-fire-starter option available, but I'd definitely avoid that too)

    Benefits:
    - 65W = decent wattage for fast-charging power banks and laptops, but not so high that it will be unnecessarily heavy for travel or trip the power outlets on plane sockets.
    - Figure 8 cable = convenient for travel, able to easily swap cords based on your destination's plug type, and avoid troubles with heavy chargers hanging out of loose power sockets in accomodation.
    - Desktop charger = convenient to be able to position it up on a bench or desk for charging your devices, instead of struggling behind furniture or on the floor.
    - GaN technology = more efficient, lighter weight and smaller size, good for travel. I weighed mine,195g without the cord. Perfect! :)
    - Both USB-C and USB-A ports = flexibility for different devices/cables.

I only received mine ~2 weeks ago so I can't attest to the long-term reliability. But it does what it says on the tin: it charged my 65W Baseus power bank at near that speed (was charging slightly slower, at around 57W, which I'm guessing was due to the current charge level of the power bank). It didn't get too warm. And the AOHI support chat was really good - the price dropped by like ~$10 the day after I ordered mine, and they discounted their USB-C cable by $10 for me (which they totally didn't need to do!) so I am happy with them and they seem promising if something goes wrong.

The lords of bargain favour us this moon. Praise the good inns-keeper for his famous burgers and drinks, that he has swayed the cold hand of exchequer TA and delivered us our up to $15 boon congruent on our own contribution to procure wonders of engineering from the mechanical lords far abroad. Never again shall it be uttered that we commoners are the product!

  • Dam looking at getting ~$400 phone so max out the cap way too fast. Better than nothing though.
Guess I will just wait for my invite to lunch too @Clear

    • +1

So perhaps buy it now while the cashback is 4.5%?

      • I haven't had a chance to order yet. It isn't by chance $15 cap at 20% and then the rest at 4.5% standards?

    • $15 cap, not much compared to $400 but it's still $15 so up to you.

      • Yep, still saying I am better off. I was going to buy even without an upsize. I was dreaming of an ultimate deal with a cap large enough to fit my purchase :P

        • True, just have to wait till 7pm..
You wouldn't want a $400 item to go astray.

  • @Clear

Will this stack with your other AliExpress Winter Sale??

  • Any chance of an ebay cashback offer for EOFY? Thanks CR!

  • crap just bought a $90 router yesterday

  • wish i could use the code "ss6" in conjunction with this deal to get the steeldive

    • +1

The comment just above from Clear suggests that code will work so long the item is affiliated.

  • +2

(I think) thanks to Temu, AE have got their act together a little. Been getting everything quite fast and receiving a million updates similar to Temu.

  • If I pay in USD instead of AU currency, will this affect cashback at all? Thanks

    • +1

No. You'll get the AU equivalent at CR.

    • yeah want to know this too

  • if i have 6 items in the cart with 1 of them are non affil, its okay right i will still get the cashback on the legit 5 items?

    • +1

Yes. You should get 6 tracking emails with one saying $0.

      • Hi Clear The product I want to buy its affiliated and the shop has a store discount coupon/code, can I use it and still get cash back? Thanks

  • Purchase has been made, hopefully it'll track. All items were affiliated and I used the SS6 voucher.

    • All items tracked now. All up I saved $28 including cashback, coins, and the SS6 voucher. Bought my total down to $62 😩

  • Purchase tracked! Bought this monitor from previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/781322 Paid in USD. Full $15 AUD tracked. Thanks TA and Clear.

  • tips: pick the one that has "choice"most of them are affiliate. prices also good.
its so sucks, you see cheaper price but then shipping kills it
you sort by ticking free shipping, and the results are still with shippping fee.

    another tips:
if you find an item that doesnt have add to cart button (only buy) then add to wishlist first then from wishlist you can move it to cart

  • Bought 3 items at once, but only 2 of them (coincidentally the cheapest items) have tracked.
    Anyone else had this issue?

  • I want to buy a keyboard but it doesn't come up by searching. I know the item exists on AE, as I have a link to it (below). Any advice on how to get this purchased using CR?

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005606379176.html?pdp_np…

    • If you search for the product ID from the URL you'll find it.

      1005005606379176

      • Thanks. Order has been placed. Is there a usual time for the cash back to appear as pending in my account?

  • how do we ensure things are tracked properly as Alixpress opens every link in a new tab. What if we want to add separate items

    • Clear mentioned just above you can grab the product ID from the url. For my purchase I first grabbed the ID from each product and double checked that they were affiliated.

Initially I was pasting each product id into the Ali express search bar, which would bring me directly to the product on the same page. This should work.

I do have the cashrewards chrome extension though, and as long as I stayed on the AliExpress website, it didn't matter if I switched tabs or opened new ones. My cashback tracked on all items.

  • When trying to pay with PayPal doesn't work for me just stays on the PayPal loading symbol and doesn't progress. Strange.

    • +1

      Try a different browser?

      • Yes worked fine on laptop, tried phone a few times with no luck. Thanks, just got confirmation all items tracked!

    • +1

Yep, I also get that using Cashrewards embedded browser on either phone or tablet, PITA. I switched to Edge on PC to pay

  • done. $52.xx for 12 items. not bad.
    11x tracked, one non afill

    • What goodies did you get?
