  • Ooo strange colours but looking to replace my Gel Kayano 27s.

I’m assuming the quantum series are new?

Are the 360s better than the 180s?

    • I got these during that sale on the Iconic a week or so ago, not loving them compared to the Kayanos …

      • Thanks, that’s good enough for me. Stops an impulse buy, especially without half sizes.

i have both quantums and Kayanos, Quantums are technically not "running" shoes, they're more "everyday" wear shoes for walking (bit heavier and less ventilation). i find theyre fine enough to run with occasionally, but they really aren't replacements for the kayanos if youre planning to do speed runs/long distances.

Yes, it goes 90/180/360 - which relates to the coverage of the gel deposits on the soul, so yeah if you want the gel all around then you want the 360 version.

I love them honestly, but have not used the Kayano 27s.

          Thank you for your service.

  • Would these be good for netball, or should I stick with my old Kayanos?

    • +1

You would be better off going for the netburner series, they are a bit better wearing for the pivots and what not that you do on the court. But to answer your question directly, I cant see the 360 lasting too long in that sort of environment, you'll probably be replacing them in a years time.

  • Guys i just bought 180s for the same price, are these better or 180s

    • +1

      360 better

  • I want the all white 180s or 360s but can’t find a deal!

  • Have been undergoing a major lifestyle this year including adding daily walks to my routine…slowly adding jogging to that…however hitting winter I'm often coming home with soaking socks/shoes. Can anyone recommend these for exercising when raining, or otherwise? Been reading up way too much on so many different choices so hopefully looking for some real world opinions

    • I only use these for walking and don't have a problem with wet shoes socks but I also only go when it's not raining. They are really comfortable, I like that I can slide my foot in and out without having to untie laces like I would with kayanos

      • I also use these and there's absolutely no way I could get them on or off without undoing the laces - the fabric of the shoe doesn't have any stretch 🤷🏼‍♂️
So YMMV if that's something you want 👍

        • Appreciate the responses here! I do like the mesh feel but obviously that's probably what's causing my feet to become wet. As I'm slowly upping the distances I'm walking and adding some jogging I'm seeing that there's a balance that needs to be struck, especially in winter haha.

    • Zero waterproofing on these, they're sort of a porous mesh.

i sent this deal to a mate who used to work at footlocker, he said they are not good for people with wide feet, okay for walking and gym, would not recommend for running
