FATALITY
That's what we said back in school. That and "STAY OVER THERE" to mimic Scorpion when encountering an ugly girl. Primary was cringe.
Mega Man series was a ridiculously hard game, would be a lot easier playing it today as you could work out what order to play the bosses in though!
i still have ptsd from trying to defeat sting chameleon :')
You may be right though - i havent played it in about 25 years.Sting Chameleon should be one of the last ones you do (unless you hate yourself)
Stay low and let the boomerangs arc up at him.
Maybe it is time I load it up on my 351mp for old times sake and show that mf who’s boss
But getting it right was what made it so satisfying.
The internet has spoiled discovery and exploration in a lot of games.
yeah was at a friends house on the weekend, and his kid was playing Mario Odyssey on Switch. Literally had a tablet with a youtube video next to him, and he was watching a walkthrough of the game to get 100%, and he was playing along with it
i guess fair enough if they want to literally 100% it, some of the hidden stuff in games these days is so obscure..
@Jimothy Wongingtons: The problem is I think a lot of people just want to 100% games on the first go. I'm certain it's an issue because of the abundance of choices we have nowadays. People just want to quickly blitz through games so they can go through their list. Real easy for you to get through a game meticulously when it was the only thing you had, I suppose.
@Munki: fair - i only had sonic 1 for mega drive for about 7 years. Could never get past the final level :')
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Having a bootleg 31-in-1 and 52-in-1 on NES was great, but I still only played a small handful of those games.
@Munki: That’s because 3/4 of them were just duplicates with different names
@87percent: Actually, the 31-in-1 didn't have any dupes. I think the 52-in-1 had multiple versions of hacked Super Mario Bros though
So true. There is nothing secret or mysterious anymore. It's all out there on YT.
Final Fight and SF2, still fun to play in 2023.
Mega Man X has one of the best soundtracks of all time.
Slightly related, is there anywhere you can play Metal Slug?
Rom with an emulator or Steam. Also want to know any better ways
In the mid 2000s there was an online Metal Slug multiplayer game, I remember there was several players on the screen at once, all of us run and gunning custom bosses in crafted levels. The game was fun, when it worked… lag from Aus was horrendous.
Wish I knew what happened to that game.
I saw a few of the Metal Slug series in Amazon Games not long ago
Just checked then Metal Slug 1, 3, 4 and X are available now on Amazon games.
Wow, thanks 👍
Yeah if you have Amazon Prime (and you probably should, it's easily the best video streaming service per dollar, plus the free shipping, free music, free games, etc) you can download it now for "free" from Prime gaming.
Mega Man X, X4, and X6 were my days and also SF2, KOF97, 2000, and 2022.
Recently seeing people streaming KOF15. Very tempted to get a fighting stick
The best fights are personal.
