[PC, Preorder] Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC US$14.99 (~A$22.25, Ukraine VPN Required) @ GOG

250

Thanks to nubix and confirmed by wishing well, Ukraine VPN offers cheaper pricing at USD$14.99 (AUD$22.25). Google Pay not required as PayPal confirmed working. Thanks guys.

Original offer via Brazil VPN & Google Pay

Pre-order launched last night.

Quick trip to Brazil (via VPN) will net you a ~$15AUD saving (RRP: $44.99).

Google Pay required as Brazil/GOG requires some type of proof of residency number for other payment methods. Not sure why GPay slips through, but it does.
I am with ING if that matters, I'm not sure.

DLC available to play September 26, 2023.

Whats the base game price there?

How strict is GOG with circumventing geo restrictions and account bans?

I bought CP2077 using a Russian VPN on launch, no issues (although I did spend $480 on the CE for Xbox, but wanted on PC too without having to pay full price again).

Just ordered the DLC using this method, time will tell.

      • Yeah its never been that low since. Shouldve got it lol

I've been doing it for years with an Australian account with no ill effect. Used to do Russia for cheaper but that's gone now.

      Base game currently 50% off ~$30.38AUD (R$99.98).

        both 14.99 USD in Ukraine

        • Damn it. So they are. Didn't know Ukraine had regional pricing.

Added to description. Will update whole deal if someone confirms payment works.

Thanks man. PayPal worked fine. Bought the base game and DLC combo for US$27.99 and was charged $43.58.

Thanks nubix, I paid $23.18 AU, including PayPal currency conversion fee.

Here we go again another preorder :/

    • +8

I was thinking the same. Out of all the games to do a pre-order for? It's the definition of fish brain.

There's no way CDPR make the same mistake twice. They earned my goodwill back with their constant fixing. The base game is fantastic now.

I wouldn't pre-order at full price mind you, but this is a discount. Easy sell.

        • The Witcher 3 Next-Gen update launched in a pretty bad state so they've effectively already made the same mistake twice.

          • @Rogoth: Fair point, but CDPR only finished the development. Saber Interactive's Russia studio did alot of the work for that before being pulled from it. Pobably always gonna be a bit rough when a game switches hands in development.

  • +6

I think CDPR has learned their lesson and have put a ton of effort into this but will wait for previews/reviews.

    • Skillup just put a preview video up, it's sounding very promising with a lot of big changes to the base game as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes, let's hope they've finally figured it out.

  • Do que trata este jogo

  • Is this just for the dlc or does it include the base game as well?

If it doesn't, where is the cheapest to get the base game?

  • +1

this game and its developers so egregiously misled and lied about what it actually could do, that anything else to do with it is an automatic PASS

  • lol

  • +2

You've got to be kidding - who the hell would preorder this dlc after the initial game launch? You'd have to be absolutely brain-dead.

  • From the reactions in the comments section, would make sense why people are withholding from pre-ordering this DLC - especially since they had a disastrous launch with the base game.

Remember everyone, no pre-orders (not that i can't stop you from doing that, but you should know by now that pre-ordering games, it doesn't make your game any better than someone who buys it on a discount).

  • Do you need to buy the DLC from the same store you bought the base game from? Ie I bought from Aus epic store. Can I buy this?

    • +2

No. Needs to be same store.

      • Damn. Thanks

  • +2

Seems like everyone has forgotten already. NO PREORDERS.

  • +3

The fact CDPR have the hubris to offer a pre-order

  • +2

I preordered the base game before it was delayed 2 or 3 times, failed at launch, and still have only played the tutorial. $45 on steam feels too much for this DLC.

    • +1

Honestly go back and give it a go. It's a fantastic game now.

      • I'm waiting for patch 1.7

  • I paid $26AU for the base game when it came out
Enjoyed playing it. Been looking for a cheap pre-order as $45 is a bit rich.
Pulled the trigger on $23AU, thanks OP
    Now we wait….2 month lol
