Hi, im looking at buying a brand new 1500mm bathroom vanity. Needing a stone benchtop to go on top. Just wondering where people go to buy this? I can get the stone with the vanity, however, it doesn't have holes cut. So I wondered whether I could get the benchtop cheaper elsewhere with the holes cut?
If not, who can cut holes in for me?

They come without holes as there are endless combos of holes/placement. So the supplier will normally cut them for a small fee, tell them how big and where you want them.
Thanks. I was hoping for some suppliers that are reasonably priced. Ive called around a few, but they say they obly provode large pieces of stlne that id then need to get professionally cut to my size. Im just after 1500mm with 2 holes for bowls and 2 holes for taps.

Avoid DIY silicosis
Bunnings do some bench tops and you can arrange installation and cutting thru them as well.
When you say holes, do you mean holes for the taps and the spout or the cutout for the basin?
Most private sellers of stone benchtops also do cutting for a fee.
There are a few around Guildford / Fairfield. They have offcuts lying around and will provide quotes depending on what you want.
If the top is not thick, I would try and cut it myself. Have cut holes in tiles and porcelain cistern tops using diamond edged hole saws, mask, drill press and water to minimise dust.
Edit: when you go to a retailer, you can usually see vanity tops coming in several varieties depending if you want 3 holes (2 taps and a spout) or 1 hole (mixer tap).
