Geo-pricing is so interesting for digital products the "goods" are effectively a copy & paste with no effort involved beyond its original creation. Yet companies love to charge people more based on where you are a citizen.

This is true for most things (same actual costs withstanding), not just digital products.

If the price wasn't adjusted for local pricing/affordability, there would be less subscribers in 'lower' equivalent exchange rate countries, and therefore those in 'richer' countries would pay more. So if anything,you should be happy the cost is lowered in other countries to attract subscribers and therefore offset your local costing to some degree :)
