Ordered. The discounted price was 1061 last night, and I almost placed an order, but also considered a tello. Surprisingly they even further reduced the price by 10% lol
note the tello is a completely different thing, fairly short range, video is poor..
The DJI Mini drones are really solid.I certainly know tello is different, but it has its own merits. I may still grab a tello later.
Purchased yesterday at $1061 thought it was a good deal already considering the deal from Dronecity is now a mystery…

I really should check the specs of DJI's modern line of mini drones and see if they are hard upgrades to my original Mavic Pro.
As a Mavic Pro and Mini 3 Pro owner, it's most definitely an upgrade. You get a far better RC, less weight to travel, a better bag (if buying the fly more combo), longer flight time, better obstacle avoidance, new QuickShots and other functionality like MasterShots. The gimbal lock is built into the gimbal cover.
The one downside is the mini series requires a screwdriver to remove the props. No quick release props unfortunately.
Not having to connect your phone every time you want to fly is a huge deal. At this price, I'd be buying if you want to upgrade and don't mind the smaller form factor.
So glad this is out of stock. Would have definitely got it and would have definitely got an earful at home!

If you buy from dji store you can get the DJI Mini pro 3 + Fly more Kit plus + FREE SD card + 2 years warranty instead of 1 for $1,460.00 which is decent
But this was $957.41
