  • do i need to be a NSW resident to use this? or can I sign up for a trip to sydney?

    • From this, you will need to start and end where you got the car from. Doesn't seem to matter where you are from from what I can see.

At the conclusion of your reservation time, return the vehicle to its designated location from where you picked it up and simply lock the vehicle via the app or by tapping off with your access card and then you can walk away.

      • It actually does matter I think.

Popcar initially declined my application because I didn't live in their serviced area. After telling them the address on my license does not match where I am currently temporarily residing at they asked for proof of residency at an address that is within their serviced area, which I provided them with.

        • Nice to know. I just wrote what I could find from the faqs page

        • This.

Popcar only serve people who live in their service area, I live 30km away from Sydney city and they weren't going to accept my application, so I showed them I work in the city and they happily accept my application.

I can vouch for the hassle free booking system that they have. Been using on and off after utilising the free $150 sign up credit from the previous deal

  • minimum spend? or can pretty much just use the credit for car hiring?

    • No minimum spend. Yes.
