Most likely a description error but won't hurt to give it a go. Amazon's price per 100g uses that price.
There are other callebaut products with the same "error" but I'll leave that for you to dig up.

I REALLY don't need 20kgs of chocolate, so wouldn't be too upset if this one isn't honoured.
Tempted to buy the milk callets, but in the product descriptions seems only for 2.5kg (weight, dimension), except that the number of piece is shown 8. Will the seller honour this? What if they only send 1 pack (2.5kg)?
good question, I think most of us buying aren't sure what we'll get. If 1 bag arrives I'll just return it saying wrong description.

Ordered this Callebaut Finest Belgian 70% Dark Couverture Chocolate Baking Callets 8 x 2.5 kg for $89.60 @Amazon Australia - link here. It is darker (more % cocoa, hence bitter) than the one in the original post (Callebaout Belgian Dark Chocolate 811 - 54.5%). Waiting for them to confirm their delivery date… fingers crossed!

sure no worries, I ordered the milk and white. If it's only one pack, in the past they let you keep it and get a refund so maybe its best not cancel the order!
@attalisie: Oh is that if you complain? I have only ever returned one thing to Amazon and it was just automatic that it was sent back.

Anyone has experience purchasing item with wrong description, but not fulfilled from Amazon? Saw Callebaut Cocoa Powder, 8x 1kg sold by Paragon Foods Melbourne for $32.99 plus 14.09 delivery fee. For 8kg of chocolate powder, $ 47.08 is a good bargain.
I haven't tried in the past but you're better to try 20kg for $35 from amazon :)

@attalisie, saw that, but it is not available yet, while the Paragon Foods Melbourne has stock at this moment. It seems these two are the same item with different supplier. I made mistake in my above post. It should be 20x not 8x.
My guess would be if just 1 packet comes you would need to return it to the supplier and get a refund.
FYI - the Milk, 54% and 70% are all online and available for back order again.

Received one bag. I'm talking on the chat now to someone who clearly doesn't understand English very well and they are trying to argue that it is 8 pieces of chocolate that weigh 2.5kg.

I was given the option of refund or to fulfil the initial order so chose that. I bake a lot. The order is on the way so we will see tomorrow.

My replacement order arrived today but only one bag, not the other 7. Still happy with the outcome as it’s 5kgs of excellent chocolate for $80. I usually buy it at Costco for around $20 in 1kg bags.

My milk choc 33.6% just came today and was only one packet. Also only 1 cocoa powder came.
Easy refund? I ended up ordering the caramel too.

@td93: Nice well done. I realised they were saying to send my item that hasn't come yet (the white choc) so I got a refund for the milk and cocoa. They said for me to reorder but the milk isn't in stock so I've tried my luck with the 5 x 5kg block

I went straight to the chat but it seem you can just request a return without speaking to anyone, too..
The customer service rep first offered me a 10% discount, then $15 off, then 30% off. I kept saying i want to return it for a full refund.. then eventually processed the full refund and no mention of needing to send it back..
Now lets see what happens with the other 2 orders..
Seems like some of them don't know what to do. I messed around for 40 mins with someone who was actually quite rude. Asked for a Supervisor and they refunded immediately. Next day I got someone and a refund instantly.
I'd advise if there's any problem just ask them to end the chat (so you can start again) or ask for a Supervisor.
I was asked to take a photo of the item with my name attached to the box and the correct date and email it to them. It seemed a bit odd to me however they refunded the full amount almost instantly
