    How do claim this as a tax write down? Also I read through articles and it says only 300$ worth can be written down in a financial year for individuals.

      Anything over $300 needs to be depreciated - over two or three years depending on what it is from memory.

      Best check with your accountant about your situation: especially if you can even claim in the first place.
