Concept 2 is the gold standard. Used by the rowing community and is a way more accurate monitor for training/time trials, compared to the water rower. It's built like a tank.

I have never tried a rowing machine before. But I heard someone say that if you had to choose one form of exercise, then rowing is the best.

You were lucky with the price match though… That's the old Model D while Rebel Sports only sell the RowErg. (Yes I know it's pretty much the same thing, but it's technically still a different model.)
