I’m sure there will be plenty of members on the forum. So many people I know put their kids on the wait list when they’re born
What a ripping business model. Average game attendance is low among members but they’ve got 150,000 paying $800 a year, plus 200,000 waiting for the privilege to pay lol. Members know if they don’t pay they might never get membership again due to such a long waitlist. I’m not a member but have been many times, always felt a bit glorified for what it was, but hey, cos I didn’t wait 20+ years my perception of the exclusivity and wonder may be warped (exclusive purely due to time, plenty of bogans dw)
It doesn’t look like they are getting value.

In Melbourne there seems to be plenty of full time jobs because no one wants to work, particularly in the entry level enviro, parks and gardens, and agricultural areas.Forklift license, Cert 3 warehousing, RSA, RCG,

Who cares. People only want it because it takes 50 years to get in. And I am sure if you had more than sufficient funds in your account to grease the palms of the board, you certainly wouldn’t have to wait 50 years for a ticket to a club that seems pretty pointless.
