    Damn the rrp

Still don't know if it's enough of a discount to be seen on it.

    Landfill. Everything is custom.

Get what the food delivery riders use.

Technically it’s a scooter, illegal in NSW :(

    • +1

Actually, technically it's a motorcycle in NSW. So can't be registered, hence useless (more than it is to begin with, given its low speed, uncomfortable seating and ergonomics, low range, and poor ride handling)

Tell the cops you’re a comedian and like to make people laugh by looking silly. Cops will be way too busy laughing at you to fine you.

      • +7

“This is the largest automobile I could afford”

      • +4

They will laugh heartily, then fine you😎

        • +3

          then use the taser

  • Is this illegal in VIC?

    • No

    • Nope, can't have a seat to use in VIC.

    • +3

      Yes.

Per definition, in Vic an E-scooter "transports a person while the person is standing". (and, for extra disqualification "has a footboard between the front and rear wheels").

But you're not standing here, so…

"An e-scooter that falls outside the scope of this definition is considered an unregistered motor vehicle and is liable to significant penalties."

Cannot believe that over 1000 clicks and only 5 likes .

    • +3

I think people are looking at as a peculiarity and not believing that anyone wold buy and use this.

  • +1

So apparently this was designed for the user group of someone who wants an electric bike… that they can fold up to get on an airplane (frequently enough they would buy it just for that).

If this is you, go for your life.

    • Maybe van-lifers?

    • +2

      ikr.

      And why is he wired?

      • +1

are you a cop? you have to tell me if you're a cop

    • +1

      Hankey code 👀

    • +1

You'd wear a disguise too if you had to ride that thing.

  • Hard to conceive why you buy this over a standard escooter. Not to mention the centre of gravity is much higher up thus less stable than a standard scooter.

    • are you talking about CG of the device? Because once a person is on it, it would have a lower CG compared to a Scooter where people stand.

Damn that’s a lot of battery close to your testicles, heat can’t be good for making babies, lol

    • +6

You're starting to convince me to get one.

    • Admittedly I used to drive with my phone near that area.

  • +1

OP, since you own one, can you please comment on the ebike and what your thoughts are.

  • +1

    You're a wizard Harry! ⚡️

Read the comments, someone claims the whole thing is stolen IP (who was working on the original concept). Not that it matters, because it would have tanked anyway.

  • +1

Jesus H Christ is this an advert for specsavers? Now which is clearer…..1…..or….2….

    • I was thinking it's glasses for a giant.

  • Those tiny wheels look super uncomfortable on anything but smooth astroturf… like a wheelie bin. I also don't trust anything without a physical brake, e-brakes are not enough

    • Brah just use your feet; I doubt these things go that fast when it only has a max weight of 100kg

      • 20kmph, it's not much of a saving if you're shredding a pair of shoes every month tho :P
