Does Target Transfer Stock to Another Store?

My daughter bought a purse pet unicorn bag that was faulty and the stores closest to us have no stock and the item is available only at Target.

Online ordering is no longer possible as it is now in store only, however the closest store with stock is in Victoria and I am in NSW.

So I am wondering if anyone has experience requesting a stock transfer with Target, or a suggestion of another way I can buy this bag and get it to NSW without being able to go to that Target store?

It’s only worth $12 but my daughter loved it.

    Often not if it’s a sale item, but worth asking. Probably best to go I store but if you can’t be bothered call the store you bought it from

    Also I had a similar experience with a kids item that was old stock at target. I put word out and one friend found one in an op shop and someone in a local buy swap group also offered me one. So worth checking marketplace, posting on a buy swap sell group.

      Those groups on Facebook are great. Wife put out that she was looking for a label maker, had one later that day after someone gave her one

    As someone who has worked in a department store, this is rare, and usually interstore transfers only occur when an employee goes out of their way to drive it to another store. I cannot speak for target as I have not worked for them, but it is rare, especially with large distances. You would pretty much have to pay someone to buy it and ship it to you.

    What guarantees do you have that they even have stock and it's not a stocktake counting issue. Called the store to check?
