That seems like a lot of bike for that price.

  • Nice deal. too bad not many sizes

As an owner of a Canyon Strive I never ride, must resist the urge to buy another bike.

if youre serious thats a real shame not riding that….give it to me

  • Poor people who purchased the other bikes. This was the one to go for… If you did purchase any of the other deals, cancel and buy this.

    • this is a xc hardtail….buy it if you want an xc hardtail

    • When the D6 deal came out I had both tabs open. Hard choice, I know this is the better bike but I do feel that the D6 fit my needs better.

  • why is this better than the c6 dual suspension?

    • Has better components. 12sp vs 10sp. Wider gearing range. Lighter weight,
It comes down to whether you need rear suspension. If you just ride smoother trails, full suspension isnt really required and this will probably be faster.

      • The components on this are excellent. The fork alone is worth at least half the price of the bike

  • Great deal if they have your size.

  • Guys and gals, how would this fair for commuting and leisure riding that's isn't primarily on the mountain or dirt?

    • I wanna know as well, been eyeing for a while

    • It works but overkill if you ask me. You might as well get a flat bar road bike with carbon fibre fork to save some weight. Having that said this bike is a real bargain and a full price flat bar road bike with equivalent components will cost more.

      • I should have specified that I'd like to be able to take it on trails, small jumps and explore the possibility of mountain biking with it. But it would serve as my only bike because reasons.

Buy this then as this will last you a very long time before you want to upgrade to something better.

    • It's a good all rounder. Up very steep hills some might struggle but that comes down to personal fitness. When you want to take it on a blue square trail it will hold up well too. Not sure about black diamond or double black diamond trails unless you send it!

Thanks OP, I haven’t bought a new bike in years. I have a Giant CRX4 flat bar hybrid, this should be a nice change with more capabilities.

EDIT: I was unlucky and 29" medium out of stock. I ordered 27.5" medium, I hope I am happy with this.

It looks like an excellent bike. 27.5” is good fun

      • It is actually very nice to ride.
        :)

        • I’m glad. I really wanted to buy one even though I knew I didn’t need one!

      • Good entry-level bike, but when you consider the price for those specs, its a steal.
