I don't bother anymore, but I won some in the past. As long as it's a legit source, and they ship here, read T&C, then it will arrive.
Most of them are fake. Especially the wannabe streamer/influencer ones fishing for subs/likes/shares.
Lispy Jimmy gives away many thousands of dollars on streams that he never follows up on. Dude lies so hard and he doesn't even have a lisp.

I've won one or two, so has my brother a few times. Wouldn't say yes or no, it's really just luck of course.

Not all the time, some will announce the winners publicly (name and first letter of surname) and some won't.

I won something in a US competition. They wouldn't ship to Australia so I let some random American claim it.
