Hi All,
I am an Australian citizen and my wife is on partner visa 309 residing in Melbourne. She will get her PR in 2 years. Is she eligible to free / subsidized aged care course like they have in Queensland like in below deal which states.
To be eligible for Fee-Free TAFE funding, you must be:
an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
a Queensland resident
aged 15 years or older and no longer at school
not currently enrolled in another qualification.

Cheapest paid course i could find is below. It is online and they said it is superseded with CHC33021 and will be available in July only and fees will increase by $200.
Can anyone suggest any institute providing free / govt funded/ cheap course for my scenario?
Queensland is in a real age care mess.
My migrant wife had to first work considerable time for free, then pay full TAFE fees because her A/H hubby had saved too much.
Now in a lock in contract there are many unpaid hours of meeting times and courses, sometimes they even want her to pay a police check while her workmates run call girl services on the side and get everything paid!
QLD courses are so bad that the oldies keep protesting!
