Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with buying cases for the Kindle 4 wifi .
I saw there's an amazon leather case - i can get this from woolies for just under $21 (big w had them for $40++?!?). They feel ok but have no latch/thing to hook and close it tight… not sure if that's a problem as I've never used one.
Has anyone used the official amazon kindle cases and had feedback? particualrly the one with a light? Otherwise are there any ebay or in person stores or case brands to recommend for the kindle? All the Belkin and other random brands I saw in Big W had a very cheep/not very sleek look to them for the $20-30 range.. i'd be def looking to pick something up well below $30.
Thanks.
Hi. I've used several after market and OEM cases for my Kindle and Kobo e-readers. The Kindle covers are very well made and offer protection and function. I have two cases that have bands to keep them closed and I never use them (the bands that is). Cases stay shut without any help. Also, the light in my Kindle case never gets used. I have tried it a few times but you don't get even screen illumination. Amazon are about to release a new Kindle with a sidelit screen because of this issue. I never read in the dark anyway, I always use a reading lamp. So to sum up, IMHO use the genuine Kindle cover, and don't buy one with a light. hope this helps.
