Renting a car for 3 days in Melbourne

Hi all,

I need to rent a car from 28th till 31st August picking up the car from Melbourne Tullermarine Airport (Domestic). There are so many choices out there with different cars and different upgrades/mileage fees. Does anyone know a good bargain on a fairly comfortable car (like corolla) with a car rental company that doesnt charge you hidden fees?

      well I am planning to drive it from tullermarine airport to melbourne and back. + trip to philip island + ballarat + great ocean road.

        Ballarat 230km round trip
        Great Ocean Road 550km round trip
        Tullamarine 50km round trip

        plus Citilink tolls

          hertz and avis both say unlimited kilometers. Does that mean it doesn't charge for kilometers driven?

          Yeah I've hired with Hertz for long road trips and they don't charge for kilometers driven.
