Each July, Birdsville’s iconic Big Red Bash kicks off under the open skies of Australia’s Simpson Desert. Thousands of people from around Australia - and the world - head into the desert for the most remote music festival on the planet. Oh and a likely new world record for the largest number of "Nutbush City Limits" dance participants.
This year's BRB is from 4-6 July.

The lucky winners of the competition will be flown from their closest capital city to Birdsville before being transferred to the Big Red Bash site. From their glamping accommodation, they’ll experience the wonderment of the red dust by day and the sparkling desert sky at night.

And the big kahuna - a flight experience in an RFDS aircraft, most likely a Super King Air. This is the first time you can fly in one of these as a member of the public who isn't a patient :)
