    I miss their $10 ramen :~

  • What's the regular price of the standard ramen nowadays?

    • $13~$16 at the places near me in Brisbane

      • Can confirm.

      • +3

I guess that might explain why QLD not included in this deal.

        • There are no ippudo stores in QLD

          • +5

@mie: I guess that might explain why QLD not included in this deal.

          • +1

@mie: Ah okay, my misunderstanding from an earlier comment. I thought Ippudo in QLD was charging lower prices compared to other states (which would've been weird).

            • @divineiniquity: Oh yeah, sorry, I was just sharing prices of "standard ramen" from ramen places near me. Not sure I've ever been to Ippudo before

  • +17

Wow, times are tough. Standard ramen for $15 is a bargain now.

    • +4

I few $ is better than nothing, I guess. OzMeh

    • Depends if you like muddy soup because that’s what they serve - it’s not nice at all

  • Very nice!

  • What are IPPUDO BUNS?

    • Right?

    • click on the deal link and you'll know what they are (picture shown)

lol what a farce. A few months ago they said the "1st Day of Every Month" promo will be the last. Now they re-promoting it with 50% increase

  • +12

    They can keep their ramen.

  • +3

Bring back the $10 ones otherwise no deal.

  • +22

lol since when is a $15 ramen a bargain.

    • -6

inflation, cost of living, post covid rebound

      • -2

A lot of things have gone up in price, but sadly, flours isn't one of those things.

    • Hakata Gensuke is also in QV and charging $18 to $20 for ramen. Can you find me ramen in Melbourne CBD for under $15 that's just as good?

  • +7

Not really a bargain in the big scheme of things

  • +1

It might be a bargain but it taste awful - I suppose if your used to this quality of food then it’s a bargain ..

  • +3

Ippudo isn't as great as it used to be, Ive had more enjoyable ramen from places like mikazuki in Parra, Manpuku in Kingsford and Ramen Dragon in Mascot and these are $17 routinely.

  • +2

No deal at all. Far better product at Mr. Ramen San for $17 every day.

  • +1

I'll have the cream of Sum Yung Gai

  • +1

    This is a horrible discount.

I'd rather go to Keisuke for $17.50 and their broth is much better.

  • +2

50% increase from the usual $10. Not so worth it anymore

  • +2

Not worth it. Trek out to save a meger $3

  • Just went, advised offer for dine in only. Takeaway is full price

  • Note this includes the extra noodles, which used to be $1, but is now $2 so net price is $13-14 compared to previous $10, which was a more limited range.

The buns are a bs freebie - redeemable on next visit with ramen order and by 30 June, so not valid for next cheap start of month offer.

Still this is a good offer for a family with small kids to share.

PS: full price is now close to $30 a bowl.

    • But the $15 only applies to their standard ramen ($17-18), not the whole range
