Building a new house are there any government rebates available to take advantage of?

So we are going through the process of doing a knockdown/rebuild and if things go according to plan we might start building last quarter of the year.

I am doing research looking for any government rebates being offered by state, federal governments…

Came across this government site around energy; https://www.energy.gov.au/

We live in Victoria and came across the following rebates;

https://www.solar.vic.gov.au/solar-panel-rebate#am-i-eligibl…
https://www.solar.vic.gov.au/solar-hot-water-rebate
https://www.solar.vic.gov.au/solar-battery-rebate

Has anyone claimed these rebates when using a volume builder like. Arden, Boutique Homes, etc.? What was your experience, was the builder helpful in providing paperwork?

There is also the Australian HomeBuilder Grant but that is now closed to new applications but you might be able to get if you started the process before the closing date.

Has anyone come across any others?

    I'd just make sure your builder won't go bust, it seems a lot of builders are just as overextended as many property investors are. And make sure that the home is well insulated/thoughtfully built so you'll save money in the long run with heating/cooling. Or if you aren't living in it and have bought/rebuilt to let then just go "property investor" grade and make your tenants pay through the nose to heat/cool it.

    Make sure you do sufficient homework when you choose your builders (i'm in the industry in VIC). A lot of them will fail in the coming months and still taking deposits. I'm holding back starting another build now. Too expensive and too risky.
