  • One more freebie from Indiegala

    …FTFY?

    • Indians don't have tuk tuks, they have Auto-rickshaws.

      • +2

Are they not the same?? Wikipedia thinks so

I saw an opportunity for a pun and I took it

        • +3

I had an Indian mate insist that the ones in India shouldn't be called tuktuks.

Maybe it's the vehicular equivalent of "they all look alike to me"?

  • +3

Wow look at the graphics, like back in the 90s

  • +4

Seems to be priced about right

When I was 13 my Tuk Tuk driver in Bangkok stopped at a busy roundabout, turned to me and asked "do you want to drive?". Naturally I said hell yeah and my parents said hell no.

Now I can finally do what I missed out on all those years ago.

    • +12

Parents, always stopping their kids from having fun and maybe killing themselves accidentally.

      • +1

I'm glad I had responsible parents.

        • +11

Yeah but now you have a boring story instead of an awesome one where you accidentally die and take your parents and tuk tuk driver with you.

@Munki: Well you see we met him when he said the temple was closed, so we fell for the old Tuk tuk scam. However we realised that if we entered every place he took us for 5 minutes and left he'd get his fuel voucher and he was happy.

So what did we do? We ended up going to heaps of tailors and jewellery stores to load him up on fuel vouchers and at the end of it he took us out for lunch. After that he was our driver for the rest of the stay.

            Win win.

      Wrong country bro.

      • -2

TukTuk motorbikes in SEA, Vans in Africa.

        Overall same thing

        • -4

India is a country in the continent of Africa.

  • +1

Where the 'hottest curves' are both the journey and the destination

  • +1

" drive a Tuk Tuk at max speed through "
Max speed of a Tuk Tuk = 50 km/h, so a leisurely drive through the mountains?

    • 50 km/h in a tuk tuk != 50 km/h in a card

  • +1

This is a game I never knew I needed.

  • Worth the $6.

  • +1

It has been a while since I've been in one, but I don't remember them having seat belts.
I don't remember it snowing either!

Is it extreme and dangerous enough to pick up ladyboys in your tuk tuk?

    • +2

only if her head is on your lap

  • +1

The developers stuffed up big time with the soundtrack for this game.

This is what it should be: https://youtu.be/GwgK32eIvmQ?t=638

I want to organise a FIA sanctioned tuk tuk formula 1 race. It will be super competitive with the best drivers from India, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

There will be a roll cage etc but engine limited to 250cc and must use sustainable fuel coconut oil (Pol Thel)

We will race in major cities in the southern hemisphere.
I want to be the Bernie Excleston in the tuk tuk world :)
    What do you guys think?

    • +2

Got my vote (as long as I can organise the grid girls)

      • +1

You got it mister. tuk tuk F1 Executive promoter.

      • I'm afraid budget-conscious Bernie Excleston could only afford to pay ladyboys from Pattaya as the grid girls. :D

        • dammit. I should have stipulated actual females in my employment contract. small print matters.

    • there are also going to need to be strict regulations on lighting and sound systems. Actually no, please make that unlimited.

      • +1

Ok soundsystem bass limited to 200 watt RMS.
Sound system treble is unlimited - 1000 watt RMS or above!

Get that beautiful treble only sound If you know what I’m talking about.

        • I feel to make it more authentic. a minimum of one bass bin has to be completely blown

  • +1

There's a great show about TukTuk's on another website. If you know it, shame on you.

    • +1

I met those two guys in Bali! The star and his randy cameraman they are good lads. It was a real celebrity moment

  • Brigador is the real extreme tuk tuk simulator.

This dev/publisher literally lives from flipping free assets into free Unity game demos and publishing them as paid games. Then he sells steam keys for a few cents to those "$20 surprise steam game" loot box sellers.

Before indie games were a thing, you'd probably call this a scam.

  • Not a real tuk tuk simulator without having to avoid drunk tourists, locals crossing randomly in front of you, chickens crossing, going around temples and crazy roundabouts etc…
