Great sci-fi action movie that undeservedly got a bad rep when it came out.

A very underrated anime adaptation!

  I must disagree, OP. This movie was, to me, an American slap in the face to the original masterpiece, and never should have been attempted.

    I've seen the 1995 original anime film before the remake and I had no complaints!

    Everyone felt like they were embodying the essence of the characters.

    It's not even a remake. They took a whole bunch of aspects from GITS, GITS 2: Innocence, and GITS: SAC and painted it over the rough plot of robocop.
