Discount is only $35 for their cheapest plan of three meals for two people. I just want more free boxes :(

  • Talk to me when they do the $10 boxes again

  • Warning to all!! I and others within my circle have previously experienced the unethical and shonky behaviour of this company.
You can't search menus and or processes UNLESS you first provide personal information including your preferred payment information.e.g., Credit/Debit Card etc.
The site itself is confusing. Can't find company phone contact details, can't find how to unsubscribe, disengage once you have entered your personal details. Even when you think you have Unsubscribed, it's most likely they will pursue you and find ways to send products 'not ordered ', and then Debit funds from your provided payment information.
It's a nightmare trying to contact HF for assistance, and if you ever do find your way to a real person, prepare to listen to completely scripted unending BS nonsense.
Refer negs and reports on Product Review (.com), and other major review sites.
As for quality and value? From personal experience, 'neither'.
    Tread lightly .

$10 box is decent but with due respect the fruits and veggies are of the worst quality. Guilty for getting a few $10 boxes but I don’t feel sorry as many are paying way too much. Regarding the promotion, they set this up like a game, so sometimes they win sometimes they lose.

Have cancelled a box, confirmed cancellation and they sent it anyway. When I asked support about it they basically said "oops oh well"

Support just throws credit at any problem you have instead of actually doing anything about it. Think they must have very high profit margins.

      • Totally agree. When charging like wounded bulls for overpriced products, HF seem to purposely make 'mistakes', maybe because their business model anticipates more money in than out?
However, even though they may eventually offer Credit to your account for 'their mistakes ', it's like getting blood out of a stone, if you legally demand the return of your money back to the original payment method. If you are prepared to stand your ground and threaten them with reporting their practices, they will eventually cave. My understanding is that Refunds to purchasers of products MUST be returned to the original payment source, or only as otherwise agreed by the purchaser.
HF claim it's their usual 'policy' to refund via Credit only. Please note that Australian Consumer Law, where applicable, over-rides internal company policies.
