First try to figure out where the leak is before removing it. Dry the area then flush and see where the wet spot/leak is and repeat until you find where it is and then see what needs to be done. If you remove it then you will leave the sewage pipe exposed and as such it then becomes a health hazard while it it exposed.
Leave all empty toilet rolls scattered around the floor around the toilet. The ones that get soaked with water indicate where the leak is. Then just leave them for years and try no to think about about it too much.
Already done that. The water is leaking from the right hand side of the base.
Then the next step is to figure out if you want to try and fix it or get a plumber. If you want to try then download the install manual for the toilet and see if you can figure out how it was installed and use the steps backwards until you figure out what needs to be replaced or redone.
For this toilet I would not be doing it myself as the install instructions suck and indicate that the original plumber may not have followed the instructions if as you say the leak is coming from the right side of the base and not from a leak in the forma/donut seal.
We have had it installed around 11-12 years ago and first time we have encountered this issue.
Probably the rubber seal between the loo and the pipes. It’s not overly difficult to remove/install a loo. Watch some videos online and see if it’s in your skill set.
at the end put in the plumbing ticket to the council the keep the union happy?
Use a straw to taste the water. This way you will know if its fresh or not, if its fresh its from the cistern, if its not fresh, its coming from the pipe.
Is it leaking shit but not piss, or piss but no shit, or both?
Do you eat chilies?
Have you been back to bunnings and described how you take a dump in the faulty toilet and when it failed?
Slightly different model suite from Mitre10, same problem.
If it only happens when you flush, likely the outlet valve seating washer. I haven't repaired this exact model, but the cistern will likely be held onto the seat/base with wing nuts - visible inside the cistern. You won't easily be able to see the source of the leak in a back to the wall suite, just replace the washer.
