Brilliant Smart RGB+CCT E14 Globe 4 Packs - $9.00 + Delivery ($0 in-Store/ C&C/ $55 Metro Order) @ Officeworks

410

Stumbled across the 4 Packs of these Smart globes on Clearance at $9.00 - The single variant in Officeworks is $14.95.

Two different versions available:

Plenty of stock available at my local stores.

Being E14, they'll be more suited to lamps, rather than your traditional ceiling fixture.

Brilliant Smart app controlled, or via SmartLife

  • Thanks OP, got a pack.

  • I really don't think I need these, but I got 2 packs. Could be handy as a night light for our 1yr old

      You have 8 x 1yr olds?

1, but she eats light bulbs all the time

I bet she really lights up your life then

  • Where is your store located OP?

  • bought one, thanks OP

  • Bought, good ones

  • Only 350 lumens. Pretty cheap though.

Wasn't sure but googled - E14 = SES (Small Edison Screw).

  • Thanks for this. Bought a four pack today. If you have HomeBridge running, it's possible to add these to HomeKit using the Tuya Web plugin

    • They can probably also be flashed with esphome using tuya-cloudcutter and then controlled completely locally either via homebridge/home assistant

      • I just flashed, it has bk7231t chips inside instead of esp chips. Not possible for tasmota but ok for openbeken.

        • I've found esphome to be much better then obk. Only thing it is missing for me currently is the mqtt integration.

          • @ewand7: All I want is flash and forget, so reliable mqtt into HA is a must.

            • @cnboyli: Fair enough, what profile did you use to cloudcut?

  • Bought these at Officeworks last week for $5 (last pack unfortunately). Lights are great with some great colours but the so called Brilliant app is crap!

    • You can use other apps such as tuya or genio
