Amazon Japan Available on Amazon App but Not Website?

So I was looking at a pair of Zwilling scissors on the app. Price is about $19 shipped from Amazon Japan. Previously I got it shipped from Amazon US for about $50. Seeing the low price, I wanted to get another pair. So I went through SB which directed me to the Amazon website. However on the website, I can only see the same item shipped from the US at the higher price.

Why is that?

Edit: it now looks like the items have filtered through to the main site. Maybe I should post a deal?

    Are you sure they're not just fuddling up the price and description between the 110mm and 190m?

    Where is the cheap option direct link?

        It shows as $54.66 for me. It has an option to "Compare 4 new from $18.85" but clicking on that just gives prices from $54 to $70 something so it's probably an error.

            I just tried the link in a private tab and the 'Other Sellers' option gives the $18.85 price.

          And I've now ordered a pair of kitchen scissors too at half price compared to getting it shipped from Amazon US.

    It might be that the products coming via Amazon JP are just starting (to be available on AU store)?

    Hadn't previously seen this. US & UK been there a long time.

    DE (Germany), more recent. And now JP?

    Lastly, are these German made? It's the only country reference for the product, on the listing.

      The pair that came from Amazon US has Made in Germany on the actual scissors

        When I opened your link on mobile, the app opened & it went to the correct JP listing.

        On Desktop I still can't get to the JP one no matter what I do, weird. I can see it in the other options but when expanded its not there :|

          on the desktop, you have to search "Zwilling 19cm scissors" then you will see one of the listings for the lower price. (i updated the original post with the edit)

      Happened to me today, something that was 70 AUD yesterday now has an Amazon Japan option for 30 AUD

    I made an Amazon Japan account and have made a few orders directly though the Japanese site to Australia. There's a pretty limited amount of items that will ship to Aus though.
