The "Shoe Organisers" deal - $15 to store and protect 24 pairs of shoes. Can't believe I fell for this one. Floppy, flimsy bags which need to lay on the floor and cannot be picked up because all the shoes would fall into a big jumble. sigh
The Worst piece of Cr** I've Bought

My worst purchase ever…upside-down tomato planters…complete & utter shite! Lucky they were cheap…
Whew, I nearly bought those when they came out.
Oh my goodness, I also bought that stupid shoe organiser deal - 2 of them! I'm actually planning on asking Groupon for a refund - it states that you can do so in their T&C if the item is completely different to what was advertised. Fingers crossed. I am not sure how it will go down… I guess I can only try. Completely disappointed and annoyed, I waited around 6-7 weeks for delivery, thinking I could finally organise my shoes!
Oh well at least your purchase didn't cost much. I bought a maze greenhouse for my new tomatoes that I planted late in the season - $713 from dealsdirect (not a group buy but definitely fits into the title of this thread). Polycarbonate panels sounded like a winner. I put the greenhouse up in the dark (as it was too cold, windy, rainy in the day time) in June in Melbourne.
It took me 2 days to assemble. I posted a glowing review of the product as it was relatively easy to assemble. I placed it next to my house, adjacent to my study as i'm on a small block and this was the most protected position. At the end of it, for 2 months it was windy and for those 2 months it would make rattling noises as the wind hit the panels (30km/h+) and warping noises as the panels flexed in wards (60km/h+).
I soon discovered that "Maze" are called "Palram" elsewhere and then I found that loads of ppl in the UK had also found that this product suffered from noise issues. People in the UK threw theirs out (I suppose since UK only has 28 day money back guarantee).
I was pretty dismayed but I tried to remain positive. I came up with ways of securing the panels in place, so they wouldn't vibrate - but alas it was never gonna work. I wondered, in Israel (place of manufacture) do they have no wind? So I googled it - indeed they get high winds just like me. I tried to post a negative review but was unable as you're only allowed to post 1 review.
I spent a day moving it from against the fence to against the house, this resulted in no improvement whatsoever. Finally I gave up and asked for a refund. I had to spend 1 day taking it down and packing it in the box and a further day waiting in for the courier.
Alas, 5 days wasted on this greenhouse.
I bought mine off eBay, but they look exactly the same (the pictures look good, but the material is actually a flimsy cotton, not thick canvas as I suspected!).
Fortunately mine only cost about $3.50 each. They keep the spiders out and the dust off, so they're good for something, I guess… :S
Garden/lawn fertiliser spreader push by hand type, made in china, came in a flat pack carton.
I ripped it out of the box, constructed it, filled it lawn fertilizer pushed it about 30cm and the bl**dy wheels fell off! true story.
The missus went crook at me for buying carp.
Ripped it apart and straight into the bin, not worth returning for a refund.
