I'll pass on the thanks to Hugh on your behalf.

It's the only PDF that gives the warm fuzzies.

      • It's lost that old MSY feel 😢

        • That is undeniable.

You can screenshot the page as a second choice. Print as PDF is better.

But when I do this the printed gif doesn't work.

Just print each frame of the gif, cut them out and stick them together, then you can use it as a flick book. Just like the real thing.

  • the good old MHTML format for saving

Depends on reason to save webpage
    Evernote webclipper, archive.is or archive.org, https://www.httrack.com/, raindrop.io
Confirm @bazingaa save as MHTML is a good solution.

Vivaldi browser has a built-in page capture button.

There are also extensions that do this, like FireShot

  • webzip used to be good for downloading sites… not sure if its still around.

  • I use a couple of Firefox extensions.
Print Friendly & PDF is very useful, it lets you cut out parts of the page that you don't want.
