Looks like a good price for this mouse.
Don't know how it compares to last night's razer DeathAdder deal.
Limit 3 per order.
All colours available for $49

Common price; but still low.
It gets cheaper but rarely.
Questions:
1. Mulltple devices capable? (Easy switching)
2. Program the button on own laptop with software but can i use at work laptop without installing software?
I might get this one 56% off $44
Logitech M720 Triathlon Multi-Device Wireless Mouse, Bluetooth, USB Unifying Receiver, 1000 DPI, 6 Programmable Buttons, 2-Year Battery, Compatible with Laptop, PC, Mac, iPadOS https://amzn.asia/d/3o1dKUA
good mouse; i have one i've been using since mid-2017. it was recently just under $40: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/775646, now $44
alternatively, sign up for a new JB perks account and get it for $34.
What is that lightweight program called?
Onboard Memory Manager - https://support.logi.com/hc/en-au/articles/360059641133
I think uBlock, Firefox or something is borking the download page for me though since it says there is no supported operating system but I know for a fact it worked in Windows 8,10 and 11 when I downloaded it.
You need to move a USB receiver around, no bluetooth, no multidevice capability. If you don't want to constantly move a dongle around this mouse isn't for you.
Yup once programmed your profile will stick to the mouse.
@spb: but i may have some old logitech dongle around. i can use them right ? plug the dongle to each laptop.
like i have spare of bolt dongle as well as currrently im connecting my logitech lift with bluetooth
also has the old unifying dongle somewhere
@CyberMurning: @ChiMot: It uses Lightspeed not Bolt or Unify
Yeah sounds dumb but Logitech has 3 different wireless protocols at the moment. The Lightspeed protocol is designed to be low latency for gaming the Bolt and Unify is designed so you can have multiple devices on a single dongle.
This probably isn't the mouse for you. Unless you are gaming get one of the other Logitech mice. I think all the Logitech G (their gaming brand mice) use Lightspeed instead of Bolt or Unify.
@spb: omg! threee! i thought just 2.
hmm actually i bought second hand a while ago
Logitech G604 LIGHTSPEED, it has a dongle but i only play around with it for few mins via bluetooth.
i should just use this instead of keep shoopping for new mouse haha
No idea if the price is good, but they are great mice. Batteries last forever, they take a AA, and no dropouts.
It's a good mouse. Bought it for $22.80 from Catch a year and 4 months ago and it's held up quite well. Liked it so bought a spare one for $29 on Amazon
You don't get multi-device support though, it only communicates to the supplied USB nano dongle.
I also own the Logitech M720 (but lost it in a public place) and the Razer Basilisk X (drop-outs used to be an issue but later software updates fixed it).
These 2 are better options if you want to pair to multiple devices, but the M720 isn't a gaming mouse and you cannot use Logitech Gaming software with it, only Logitech Options.
Are you able to set the DPI on the M720? I'd like to set it to 800 like most gaming mouses.
You get a very simple slider in the Options to change something called "Pointer speed" but unfortunately you don't get to see what DPI setting you're at.
The maximum DPI is 1000 so if you drag the slider at roughly 80% of the way you'll get 800 DPI.
Would this be running a constant process in the background?
@ren30: Memory footprint is less than 25MB RAM usage. Not a problem for computers with 8~16GB of RAM.
I vouch for this mouse. Yup it's a good one.
Is this overkill for WFH laptop mouse? I've been wanting to try
nope
It is a totally bog standard, reliable, unflashy mouse. Don't even think it has stupid RGB LEDs to disable. So it's fine for a laptop. It's not too big either, easy to carry around. No weird shape so goes into laptop bag pockets easy.
Personally I prefer the MX Anywhere for laptops though- it's smaller.
Switches don't last long on these. Stock up on some D2F-01/D2F-01F's makes a world of difference when you start getting them click issues.
Got one of these last time they were on sale excellent mouse. Tiny bit on the smaller size but wanted something wireless at a decent price.
I got JB's to price match and used a $10 voucher i had to get it for $39 total.
Are there any recommended mice with a) side-scroll mouse wheels and b) left-handed thumb buttons? I love my M325 & M545 but I've never had the privilege of extra buttons.
Had issues with the mouse randomly disconnecting after 3 months as if the USB dongle was unplugged and plugged in again. Did a driver update, battery change and testing on another machine with same issues. Had to return for a refund.
Still enjoying my G203, still have $10 room to pull the trigger;)
