Never used the Turtlewax kit, but I've used two of this one - https://www.amazon.com.au/CERAKOTE-Ceramic-Headlight-Restora… - on two cars with excellent results. Bought it on the strength of the reviews and it did a great job.
lasts for 6 months maybe ..good for selling car and i tried many things but in the end new headlights work long term
Apply a non abrasive polymer type wax like NuFinish to your headlights regularly before they go dull and you will delay the hazing for years or stop it.
Just $12 at Repco right now https://www.repco.com.au/car-care-panel/car-care/polish-rest… 💪
Yeah but it’s on clearance, Supercheap don’t seem to sell it anymore either last time I looked.
You can buy it all Woolies and Coles though, hopefully they will discount every now and then.
When the Mother's Mag Aluminium Polish was on offer I read reviews say it worked a charm on headlights, I tried and was amazed.

did the review say how long the lens stayed clear before going hazy again?
That is why you clear spray, or wax, or nano coat it. Polishing removes old yellowed plastic but applying something to prevent UV damage again is needed.
right. but how long does it last in between treatments?
@tdw: If you just polish, no protection, then about 6 months. My experience, results may vary.
@Quarn: gotcha. will be interesting to see how much longer it stays clear with a sealant or clear coat over the top.
@tdw: If you want a long lasting kit, I've linked one just a bit further up the thread. Read the reviews.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/13777860/redir@Nom: i've tried the meguiar's two-step kit. results were great although only lasted about 1 year before it started getting cloudy again. not terrible, but noticeable. i'll give the cerakote a try, thanks.
Just normal wax and cut car polish will be enough, I use my car polish to polish the headlights for years and the result is perfect.
In my experience better off using progressively finer grades of wet and dry sandpaper in a perpendicular pattern. Polish. Clean with alcohol. Then ceramic coat (just the cheap eBay shit). Lasts a lot longer. Plenty of videos on YouTube for guidance.
