My machine has pop up filter replacement sign. So, I was searching for a replacement and found this.
Comparability as follow:
Compatible with Delonghi filter DLS C002 models, including coffee machines of the type ECAM and ETAM and conventional pumping coffee machines of the series EC680 and EC800.

I just placed the order, haven't use it yet so can't comment on the quality.

  Not entirely sure I'd trust brandless water filters. The odds of the manufacturer using some dodgy components to save a buck? Definitely wouldn't want to be drinking that.

    Agreed why save a few dollars on something that your body will be ingesting. Sure, don’t buy genuine but find something half reputable at least…

  Being an activated carbon/ sand filter, I wonder if possible to reuse it by soaking in vinegar for a couple of hours, rinse …repeat. Would dissolve any built up limescale. Not sure about the chlorine side.

  True ozbargainer don't use a filter! Just more frequent descaling, much cheaper. Can't taste any difference with or without filter.

  I grabbed a 4 pack of these for my Delonghi Magnifica EVO machine and the machine did not recognise them at all. I had to change the settings to 'no filter' to get the warning light to not show. I swapped back to the original one and it recognised it straight away when i updated the settings. No matter what i selected i could not fix this. So I am back using the genuine ones now. Live and learn… .

  I just use the softballs in my La Specialista Arte seem to work fine and about $9 for 6 months worth
