The studio monitors are sold as a pair- pretty good for budget monitors- had a pair before upgrading and never ran into any problems.

i bought 2 sets of these speakers.. 1 for my moms computer and 1 set for the lounge room tv.. love them.. the sound is super crisp and you can dial the clairty and base in with nobs at the back… mainly use for watching youtube/movies.. you may want to buy a subwoofer if you want serious movie watching base.. but im happy with it as is, as i don't want to annoy the neighbours.. do not regret my purchase.. looked at the competition.. seems though by the reviews this has the best clarity, and i believe its probably true.. and can always add a subwoofer later if you really need it…
i bought these last year before xmas on sale around $180..
highly recommend, if you don't need super high volume but want the clarity and not so much base that it annoys neighbours
and whats great about these also is that you can pair them with your bluetooth phone etc, so your not just stuck on what your plugged into.. they're great
*my mum loves listening to music on youtube/spotify because how clear the sound is and you can hear alott more of the instruments than a normal cheap speaker
*note: had issues with pairing them via bluetooth with alexa, whilst having them wired up to pc… they don't seem to handle multiple connections at the same time too well.. but 1 at a time works fine it seems
*i didnt get the 4.5 version 1 size up from this because i didnt need the extra base, and i heard the 3.5's have better clarity.. so im very happy with my purchase.. as i don't like to piss off neighbours
would i buy again at this price… hell yea, but thats just me

Great speakers, have had a pair for a couple of years. Paired with a $200ish Voll subwoofer, I seriously love them.
Or a $135 pair of Edifier MR4?
