HP ProLiant N40L or N36L MicroServer

Hi All,

Im looking at finding one of these Micro Server's (or an equivalent) and configure it with FreeNAS for backup purposes and media sharing.

I have seen a few deals but wondered if anyone has one for sale in the Melbourne area. If so, please PM me and let me know!

I bought an n40 for sale on graysonline about 6 months ago for 199 (inc postage). I was really impressed with it, and I've left one with my parents as a media server running a simple windows 7 and 4 x 1tb drives. they love it. Transcodes 1080p mkv's etc.
I reckon they could be bought cheaper too.
they were from a wholesaler in port melbourne, but some of the wholesalers sell to end users (with cash) as I've done it with a second n40 and also with some sff-8087 fanout cables last year.
May pay to call a few, tell them what you're looking for and see if they can help.

I kept the box for a while for the n40 which had their details on it, so I'll see if I can find it.

I used to have an acer aspire home server, which I loved greatly, even more than the n40l, but each to their own.
I got it from the USA, and sold it here in oz a year later for more than I bought it for. There wasn't many around at the time.
