Been trying to port out of mate all day but the verification text in the belong activation won't come through no matter what i do. Have contacted Belong to see if they can do anything but they were pretty unhelpful.
All other texts are coming through to my number, it's just that verification link when trying to bring my number across to Belong.
Don't really want to call Mate as they will hound me to stay.
Any suggestions?
I have had the exact problem. Couldnt port out to telstra or optus. Let me know if you have any luck I gave up to be honest
Were you with mate as well when you had the problem? I need to port out as my 3 months paying $1 per month is almost up.

I never had any issues moving from Mate to a Telstra JB HiFi deal.
That why one day people will learn only to do 12 mth plans .
OK. I manage 5 permanent numbers and almost pay nothing(if not some profit) every year. I feel it is worth doing.
Finally figured it out. For whatever reason, the belong number was blocked on my phone.
Can pm me the number, I can check from the Belong side
