Anyone know the differences between the V1 and V2 versions?
Also the Asus RT-AX58U is $224.10 with the same code.

I have this, i connected this to nbn box on fttc connection, its pretty much plug and play, you can use extra feature later . i would say this is much better than the one comes fron nbn providers
If you've got HFC or fiber (FTTP) then yes, this should work but if you're a noob then you'll possibly not use a lot of it's capabilities and it might be overkill.
If you've got one of the VDSL types (FTT* everything else thats not FTTP) then you need a modem+router. They generally don't sell modem only devices anymore.
There's a more detailed answer but you'd need to give more information about what type of NBN you have and a general idea of what your usage is like (rough number & age of devices) to work out if this is worth it. Whirlpool forum browsing might be a better idea.
Looks like this is a router version. You will still need a NBN modem.
Unfortunately, modem router version is not on sale.

Would this be a good price to get for nbn or should I go with the nbn providers one? I'm really noob with things like this and worried it won't work
