Kogan 34" Curved WQHD 165hz Ultrawide Freesync USB-C Monitor $499 + Shipping ($0 w/ First) @ Kogan

60

Part of the Click Frenzy Mayhem deals. Good price for a USB-C monitor, not sure what the quality of it is, though. VA panel.

Edit: I just noticed that while it has USB-C it doesn't have a hub built in, so it doesn't give you extra USB-A ports. It will still deliver power, though.

Shipping is only $12.99 to TAS, free if you're with Kogan First (which you can trial as a new member for 14 days).

Quick specs:

  • Immersive HDR display with WQHD ultrawide 3440 × 1440 resolution
  • 1000R Curvature perfectly matches the field of view of the human eye
  • USB-C port enables both casting and charging using only a single cable
  • Uncompromising colour quality with 100% sRGB and 91% DCI-P3 colour gamut
  • 165Hz Refresh rate – never miss a beat!
  • Eliminate tearing and stuttering with FreeSync
  • VA panel for superior contrast
This is part of Click Frenzy deals for 2023

I have this monitor, it is 1800R falsely advertised as 1000R. I've contacted them (and ACCC) with proof, hoping to correct this, but they insist that the laws of mathematics do not apply to them.

Everything else about it is fine.

Regarding the USB-C: It takes video input at reduced refresh rate. There's a separate old-style USB "Type B" (the square-ish one) uplink that splits into 2 standard USB-A ports.

    • You went to the ACCC because of how they described the monitor’s curve?

      • I've been mucking with their CS for literally 1 whole year. It's false advertising. Where do you suggest I direct such cases, if not the ACCC?
