If you visited anyone's profile yesterday you probably sent a Friend Request without knowing due to a bug with Facebook that just got fixed.
Better check your Activity Log under Friend Requests/Friends Added to see if you recently added or sent friend requests.
I checked and apparently I had four requests sent.

yeah this bug pretty much exposed everyone's stalking habit yesterday!
This is why my divorced friends ask me to stalk their exes for them.
I guess all those people I stalked from fb marketplace are now my friend

Lol, no wonder yesterday while I was watching youtube I got a notification that my female work acquaintance has accepted my friend request. I was like WTF. Talk about awkward.
Now I checked my Facebook and "I" have unfriended them yesterday. I might stop going work altogether now…

I visited a couple of profiles yesterday and the activity log shows no friend requests sent, so this isn't a categorical bug
This was posted on Sunday so the word 'yesterday' means Saturday night really.
I also checked and I have no new requests either.
I had one new "friend" on Monday morning. Looking now, it seems that Facebook has rolled that back on my behalf: "NanoDuke removed xxxx as a friend".
I don't even remember looking at that persons profile in the first place.
I think they were a suggested friend with 4 mutuals.
yes it did remove 1 'friend' for me cause the person already accepted but the rests of the pending requests will need to be cancelled by yourself…
FB and most social sites would be wild if search history was revealed
