Cheapest price according to the camels. I think it's only this colour and size combo. I don't know a whole lot about these watches but the price looks good when compared to some previous deals as this is the LTE version which seems to be more expensive.

Edit: Just a note from CarpeDiem295

you gotta pay for a watch plan to use the LTE on the watch, that is on top of your phone plan…
the bluetooth/wifi one on the 40mm is available on that same link for 319

hi all, you gotta pay for a watch plan to use the LTE on the watch, that is on top of your phone plan…
the bluetooth/wifi one on the 40mm is available on that same link for 319.

    • Thanks. I don't use these kinds of watches so I have no idea.

I think i can afford $5/mth to add-on my telstra plan

        Over there mate ——>

That's the tray you can leave your OzB membership card in on your way out

  • On top of that they need to be charged every 1~2 days…

I was thinking about getting one but battery life on all these smart watches is crazy!

    • dammit i just bought a W4 for 300
its is the 44 mm one.
tbh the battery life is fine for me.. less than half used per day and it charges in about an hour

yea, it sucks a bit … galaxy watch 5 pro is the one to go for.

it's not a bad experience being able to leave your phone at home and still make: calls, messages, payments.

Just save yourself the grief and get a Garmin watch.

I have one of these, pretty nice. Charging it while I shower/get ready once or twice a day for 20-40 mins I've never run out of juice. Usually will last a good day and a half at least if I forget to charge. I have the LTE version but don't use an esim since I have Telstra prepaid…. But you prob don't need esim unless a particular use case. Eg. You run a lot and don't wanna bring phone, or similar.
I got mine got 250 brand new sealed off gumtree. This is a good price for full warranty otherwise you could prob save some $ going second hand

    • 40mm? The 40mm versions are known for having very bad battery life. I've got a 40mm watch 4 and with power saving on it goes down to 30% by the end of the day.

      • Yeah 40mm. I don't use it much interaction wise, mostly just checking the time and some notifications. I have wearOS pixel simple watch face (I paid for pro version) so it seems to be pretty lightweight battery wise, especially the faint outline date and time only AOD

    • 40mins to get ready? Are you my wife?

      • 20 mins sh*t 15 mins shower 5 mins put clothes on and make coffee bud, how long do you take?

        • 5 mins sh*t, 5 mins shave, 3 mins shower (because I am water-wise), <1 min put clothes on, maybe 3 mins to prepare coffee.

          • +1

@hotphil: I put 'shower' under the 'stuff to do in the bathroom's category there so I'm not spending 15 mins under the water…. But nàaa no way mate, from out of bed to out the door in 15 mins?
            Brush your teeth brotha

(someone negged you lmao not sure who, wasn't me)

@Jayblesz: My time is expensive, I like to get up and at it lol.

Thank you for the non-neg. I think. They really don't bother me. I'm usually places to be right, not popular.

For those that have this, does anyone use the blood pressure feature? If so, how do you rate it?

    • +1

I have a watch 4 In use the blood pressure weekly, works well but you need re calibrate it every month so you still need a seperate blood pressure device.

    • +2

Got one for my dad. Even after calibration, still was not accurate.

  • Is there much difference between this and the pro really

Battery life is very bad on the LTE models. Not sure why Samsung doesn't improve that :(

    • Even if you just use the BT/WiFi function and no LTE?

      • It's fine for me as per my comment above

      • On BT/Wifi it does last for 1/1.5 days but with LTE it hardly lasts 1 day.

    • Every update of Android/Wear OS is trumpeted as having better battery life. It never does.

We had the LTE version of the watch 3 but in future would just get bluetooth. Basically I always have my phone on me anyway unless I'm going for a jog, and it wasn't worth paying a separate phone plan to make awkward phone calls from my watch.

  • You can get a grey import version for $250, what advantages would this one have?

    • Guaranteed support for Australian networks and of course, local warranty and support.

  • I need something that can accurately monitor blood pressure and heartrate. Any suggestions?
From some research it looks like this model isn't the best for that.
Not to mention the extra $65 it costs to buy the charger!

    • This should give you a good idea on HR, just apply it to recent models

Bought the 5 non LTE one for my 90 year old nan the other day. She wanted it to detect Hard Falls that auto send for help. After a bit of research, most of the models do this but the 5 model has best battery life.

Was surprised that the feature worked pretty well. I had a practice fall down and it triggered and sent SMS alert to her chosen emergency contact (and also has an easy clicky button to send for help too).

She wont use the majority of features but for the price its a good deal for what she wants.

Nan got the latest tech on her wrist hellz yes
