I used them at home for this reason. Great sound but wont take them out of the house
Hopefully you take advantage of them being wireless because you can get some very nice wired sets at this price point.
100%! I'm heavily into the Apple ecosystem, good for watching TV when the kids are asleep also.
If only they weren't so expensive
But then it wouldn't be Apple.
each to their own but I find them absolutely gorgeous, except the price.
Had a pair, the mesh fabric just didn't sit well with my ears felt very scratchy/ itchy.
Are these better than Bose at half this price. .
They're a very different pair of headphones, though, I think the Bose win in terms of being practical.
Airports max would likely have an edge in terms of sound, build quality and features(for iPhone/Apple users).
Bose - practical, lightweight, great travel and use out and about.
So in other words Bose is very comparable and better in some regards at half the price.
I have Max and QC35 and I use the Max probably 99% of the time. Only advantage of the QC35 is its light weight. The Max is a noticeably better performer for critical listening, but also noticeably more enjoyable for casual listening because of how incredibly deep the bass goes. They have powerful clean bass response which is never heavy, never muddy, never dominating.
I'm not saying they're good value, but for anyone prepared to spend this kind of money on headphones, you are definitely getting performance commensurate with the price. There's not much else that offers this level of sound quality and noise cancellation quality in a wireless headphone for this price.
@Simon Wright: Yeah there is - Sony WH-1000XM5. More comfortable, many say almost as good sound quality, and you're not restricted greatly by not being an Apple user.
And at a much better price - $480.

I use these for gaming (with a Gigabyte/Intel AX210 card) and they're excellent.
Another triggered droid boy
Sammy actually. But it still stands. Where is the bloomin' discount? lol
899 to 719. On par with other deals on the product.
any chance Apple Store could price match this or not in a million years?
Only one way to find out.. but highly unlikely
I would, if it had USB C
the iPhone has lightning so can't be that big of a deal
Are these actually any good? I mean, I would never pay this much for headphones, but just curious
If only they weren’t so ugly
