Walked into Big W Jesmond this afternoon and found a pile of Blackberry charging pods in the miscellaneous clearance section. Had pods for the Blackberry Bold 9000 and the Blackberry Bold 9700 (I picked up a 9700 version). i clicked this thinking maybe i should get one for my gf's blackberry…but i dunno about these things: isn't a phone something you'd prefer to be able to pick up and use?
just having the phone plugged in and sitting on the table seems more functional to me (easier to pick up and use, without stopping the charging), unless you particularly want a display stand for some reason…
but still…if you do want a stand, BARGAIN!
